Card Gaming Tournaments

Post by MoonMage » Wed Dec 21, 2011 2:19 pm

Hey, guys!

Just wanted to let you know that we will be having 3 Card Gaming tournaments this year at Setsucon--Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh, and Magic: The Gathering. If you want to participate, remember to bring your deck! Sign ups will occur on Saturday, January 28th in the morning.

Rules:

Pokemon
For Pokemon, HeartGold/SoulSilver and newer sets, or whatever may be legal in the Modified Format.

Yu-Gi-Oh
Yu-Gi-Oh will follow the Ban/Restricted list since they don't have a set rotation.

Magic: The Gathering
As for Magic, we'll follow the Extended rule-set and ban list to give some people some more breathing room for decks.

The website says something about being able to register for the card tournament up to an hour before hand. Is that not correct? I have to pay to come saturday to register, then pay again on sunday to come back? :/

Registering for the card game tournaments is different from registering for the convention. You'd only need to pay again on Sunday if you bought a Saturday only badge. With a weekend badge, you would only have to pay once. Registering for the card game tournament is free (once you have a badge) and handled separately.
