WIG STYLING
Eager to show off your wig styling skills? Setsucon’s wig styling competition is a great place to start! This is a Main Event held on Friday evening to kick off the convention.
Selected participants will have approximately two hours to style a supplied wig into a brand new creation where the only limit is your own imagination. Participants are required to supply all of their own styling tools including, but not limited to, hair dryers, flat irons, wefts, glues, scissors and additional accessories if so desired.
Setsucon will provide each participant with a wig, styrofoam head, and a stand.
Participants will be selected based on an evaluation of samples provided by the applicant featuring wigs that they have styled. Chosen participants will be contacted one week prior to con. Think you’ve got what it takes? Give it a shot! Check out our rules and policies below and take the time to read them carefully before submitting your application. If you have any questions, please contact our Cosplay Director via the Contact Form.
Wig Styling applications will be open starting December 16th, 2024, and will remain open while space is available. Applications will only be available day-of convention if spots are still open. Wig Styling entrants must be registered for the convention prior to being allowed to enter into the Wig Styling Competition.
We cannot wait to see your amazing wig styling skills. Take a look at the following rules before applying.
Please complete the below application to the best of your ability and as complete as possible. This application, and the contents held within, shall be used by our Cosplay Director to review your submission to our Wig Styling Competition. Please ensure that you read all policies and information ahead of applying, as submitting an application binds you to these policies.
On behalf of the Setsucon staff, thank you for your interest in this competition, and we look forward to seeing your creative designs.
