MAID CAFE
We’re partnering with the Pixel Pop Maid Cafe to to bring the charm and experience of Japanese maid cafes to Setsucon! Enjoy food, games, and performances by the maids throughout the convention weekend.
Established in 2019 in the DC Metro area, Pixel Pop is a gaming-themed maid cafe where you are the hero. They pop up at various events around the Mid-Atlantic region, and they’re so excited to make Setsucon one of their home stops! Need to restore your HP after a long day of roaming the convention floor? Then come enjoy delicious treats, live performances, and fun games with Pixel Pop!
If you are new to the idea of a maid cafe, don’t worry – Pixel Pop is here to help! The maids of Pixel Pop are more than happy to explain how maid cafes work, what to expect, and more during the convention weekend.
In order to make sure we all have fun, please keep in mind the following rules:
Please make sure to show up to your session on time. It is recommended to arrive early to secure your spot. All sessions are first-come-first-serve and have limited capacity.
Due to the food and drinks provided, the Maid Cafe cost is not included with cost of a badge. Payments will be collected upon arrival of the Maid Cafe session (cash only), and is $15 per person. This includes an hour time slot in the Maid Cafe and food & drinks.
There will be numerous first-come-first-serve one hour sessions available to participate in throughout Saturday and Sunday of the convention. A valid convention badge is required to attend a session. Check the schedule for specific times.
Founded in 2007 by the Penn State Anime Organization, Setsucon brings anime, manga, and Japanese culture to the winter months in Central Pennsylvania.
