VOLUNTEER
Being a volunteer is a super fun and rewarding experience! Volunteers can expect to perform positions such as helping with specific events or rooms (i.e. game rooms, viewings), line control, registration, roaming, badge check, and more. By working in these various roles, you will have the chance to see what it is like working for a convention, to meet new people, and to gain new experiences. Our volunteer program, called the Penguin Program, is a rewarding experience for all – giving a great glimpse into convention running while working together to accomplish something special.
Please read the below information regarding what it means to be a Setsucon volunteer and the perks available for volunteer. Any questions, feel free to reach out to our Human Resources Director with any questions.
All volunteers must meet the following requirements in order to be eligible to volunteer. Failure to meet these requirements will lead to rejection of volunteer application.
After completion of the minimum 10 volunteer hours at the convention, the following perks are available:
*NOTE: Volunteers that choose reimbursement of a weekend badge will receive their reimbursement no later than five (5) days after the convention ends as a refund on the card used at checkout. Due to Eventbrite limitations, this will not include reimbursement for any taxes or fees, just the base ticket amount.
